The Garden of Unjudged Hearts

By Mrs. Mithi Das

Connection with souls is never too far,

Peace gently grows where pure moments are.

In nature’s soft breath and in children’s bright eyes,

Truth lives with kindness that never denies.

Each morning arrives in a whisper of light,

The money plant murmurs, “Good luck and delight.”

The jade in the pot lifts leaves in mid-air,

As though tender greens ask, “Did you have your share?”

The hibiscus in my garden blooms in a scarlet embrace,

Calling, “Return before dusk leaves this place.

Hurry back home before daylight can die,

For flowers will fall when the sun waves goodbye.”

After long hours at school in the day,

Leaves start to sparkle and branches all sway.

By the front gate, with excitement and cheer,

Building-yard children bring joy ever near.

Waiting for chocolates in tiny soft hands,

Laughter rings golden like sun over sands.

Smiles full of innocence, eyes shining through

Such moments feel heavenly, perfect, and true.

No greater blessing from God is now sought,

Just gentle young hearts with love that is taught.

Let every child stay fearless and free,

For love given freely is life’s truest key.
