As my soul caught fire
And burnt every desire.
I fell to my knees,
Watching the seas,
I wished ... Time could freeze.
Burning bit by bit
Every part of mine lit,
As the perception faded,
The flames took my vision
Yet I could envision
The memories I created.
The hands I held
The happiness I felt
The love, the laughters
But fears were my masters.
Then desires seemed withering
As my speech degraded
Took the power of my words
With the impact they could've created.
The passion my heart held
The love it longed to have
Maybe it was vulnerable
And maybe a little sad.
As the fire flared
Seeping through my skin,
My fears dissolved
And so did the demons within.
My dreams were gone
And so were my burdens
A little right, a little wrong,
Ending each of my versions.
The fire seemed pleasing
As I met the end,
The weak me was gone
So was the one that couldn't bend.
