The Final Moment

Broken bones and bloodied pages

Do you hear the lament of a silent heart?

Skin as cold as ice, and her touch as sharp as thorns.

Glazed orbs that seems to contain the whorls of a thousand galaxies

A deep breath for the final moment of sanity,

before she tumbles into an endless void.

Surrounded by the whispers of lost souls,

she decides to give in to them,

only to find herself with a shattered mind.

She held onto the broken end of a sword

and watched the ink blue lies bleed away.

Eyes shut tight to seal herself off from reality

but she always comes back to it.

Because what is life without a little pain?
