Life has had its share of serenity and tremors in your journey
You've experienced the triumph of love and the shattering of loss
You've known both the power of supremacy and tears of longing
Those stages of life, you've lived up with grace;
and now you've reached, where no-one wants to stay.
It's been long since you've been thriving, in this helpless state of immobility
where you are lying still, waiting for each moment to pass;
and to bring you the end that you rightfully deserve.
Even when all your dear ones are here to meet you,
only your eyes seem to be eager to meet them all
Or is it just me trying to find one bit of life in you to hold onto?
Us, the ones left to linger more are always desperate for a ray of hope.
Those tears dropped from the ones sitting beside you,
glides through you cheeks simply, yet you wouldn't even twitch
and your favourite daisies are blossomed outside the door,
but what's it's purpose when you won't even care?
Even when it rips me inside, I need to wish you something;
Don't wait to become just a pile of organs, and a soul for namesake
With every breath inhaled imprints to be a burden for you.
Where life engulfed you, let death embrace you!
Your deeds in this mortal world have thus been fulfilled
Now loosen that tight grip of your hand, and let things take its course
Just close your eyes and I know you'll be relieved from this pain,
Into that world of utmost pleasure and tranquility;
where we'll meet again, once I'm freed from my life's journey.
