Theme : healing or perishing

Mood : stressful in the beginning

Neutral towards the end

Tone : optimistic, strong

Midnight giving me the hardest time

May be because you were like a slippery slime.

That got rolled in another court

And made me stand in deep water without a boat.

You just went and came back like nothing happened

Is this why I usually wiped my cheeks that were dampened?

Perhaps I am habituated to overthink

But How could I ignore the treacherous events that made my brain clink?

You should witness this perplexity

I could neither call it a betrayal nor rely on your loyalty.

Now,My heart needs to accept what my mind already knows

The battle would be easier if I'd forgotten our vows

But I know you were improving day by day

And standing beside you was all I could do to stay

You might go but I couldn't let you

Maybe because I still saw the white light in this dark hue.

You've apologised, compensated and have shown persistence

But the initial wounds delayed the acceptance

I ll be following this feel but with use of brain

This Final Blow may sound insane

Perhaps my heart can still vibe with something that my mind can't relate to

Therefore taking last chance to go through

Low-key saying I can never hate you as it is not meant to be

But this time you ll have to keep trying to earn me.

I ll forgive you because of my tactful dealings

But you ll have to make me forget with help of YOUR feelings.

I believe we ll do this with amazing connect

But even if we don't,I would never regret

I ll move on, with or without you

Former will be like dream come true and latter will teach me a lesson,I already knew!!
