English Version:

"The Faded Bloom"

Wrapped in a shroud, yet she seemed to me,

As if a fresh rose in bloom she’d be.

Her journey lasted just two fleeting days,

Yet her memories shine in priceless ways.

My eyes ran dry, no tears to flow,

But in my heart, a storm would grow.

I wish to see her just once more,

My heart desires to unlock that door.

Roman Urdu/hindi:

Lipti thi woh kafan me likin,

Mujhko laga koi taza gulab ho.

Do din ka uska ye safar tha,

Par yaaden aisi k nayaab ho.

Aankhen toh sookh gayi magar,

Dil me jaise dard ka sailab ho.

Dil chahta hai ek baar phir mile,

Kaash ke koi aise asbaab ho.
