The Essence Of Beauty

i think we’ve misunderstood,

the essence of beauty.

we’ve perceived it to be,

the size of our thighs,

the colour of our eyes.

failing to notice that we have,

been living a life overflowing with sugarcoated lies.

we’ve given importance to,

the symmetry of our face,

we’ve discriminated against,

each and every gender or race,

merely to define beauty incorrectly,

why are we losing our grace?

the day we discern that beauty lies within,

an ethereal era of humanity shall begin.
