The Enchantress

Oh You! The Enchantress!
Sleeping in a fort!
Snoring so loud,
Alarming the court!
Finest you wear,
Nothing away from quite extra ordinary!
The shoes, the clips to minute details,
Stones, pearls and other diamonds rare!
Your presence is awed,
By the Royals many!
Yet the envious seek,
Your flaws in abundance!
Men and women,
Tales of the old.
Guard royal secrets,
With their maids as told!
Filled their bellies with food and drinks,
Danced till they dropped on the floor!
Remained three who disclosed to me,
The elegant secret of their Queen!
Old and grumpy, poorly clad,
She rarely changed her clothes!
Smelled till maids laughed,
Hair tangled in horrid knots!
Pathetic state for a proposer to see,
Quite frightened he might just be!
Escaped out of the royal meadows,
Catching his breath, he would flee!
Oh! She snored so loud, they said!
What a pity for a queen highly bred!
Ill-kept and smelly, utterly disgusting,
Not a match for a woman so royal and highly tempting!
She is The Enchantress! Behold!
All eyes on her as she walks !
Hushed in silence and awed by looks,
Many skip a breath to catch her smile!
