The Emotional Whirlwind

There he was totally entangled,

The air was tensed and memories were cradled.

The sobs were formed from my continuous cry,

And with the 'burning cold',tears got dry.

He cupped my face,I hugged him tight,

The surge of relief kept us upright.

But the painful stories were playing like a reel,

And suddenly the hurt gripped the soul and attacked that amazing feel.

Maybe the blames and the conflicts were only left to obey,

The care and love was speechless in a way.

The shrieky screams jolted the space,

We never thought we would ever face.

Frustration, agitation and irritation took the lead,

That atrocious day compelled the heart to directly bleed.🩸

The glass was broken in fury by both,

But that suddenly calmed the anger 's froth.

As the blood poured out from the deep wounds,

He ran towards me and I almost swooned.

Out of concern,

He cupped my face,I hugged him tight,

And the surge of relief kept us upright.

There was an acceptance of unspoken apology,

Perhaps,we learnt another inexplicable epistemology.

The wounds were nursed,in complete silence, with care,

"The whirlwind" was gone and Love was in the air.

We talked for hours and realised the mistakes,

We were both at fault, but understanding did perpetuate.

The argument laid the strong foundation because,

The tornado served for the greater cause.

That amazing feel was rejuvenated with its wonderful intensity,

And we both sank into the deep tranquility.

So lovingly,

He cupped my face,I hugged him tight,

And the surge of relief kept us upright.
