“THE DISLOYAL COFFER”

I'm a surgeon of words,

for the ordinary fools call me nerd.

am I to prove them, by stitching a masterpiece

or will I be done for, will I be ceased?

am I the ultimate tool, to society,

to please them in my sobriety?

or mere entertainment to the gloomy,

even if nobody ever knew me?

guess I'll sleep on my stony pillow,

near a lake, under the evening willow,

for this dystopia has nothing real to offer,

I'll keep my letters in my deary mind of a coffer.
