The Diary of Life

Walking down the pathway, acknowledging the lonely, quiet roads.

Grey skies filled with pale clouds. Such sadness, a depressing atmosphere.

I walked, overthinking upon thoughts too great to comprehend. Thoughts of great depth, thoughts of thirst.

Walking a path of pain and suffering, aren’t we.

Those who walk through the thorns relish the roses,

yet never would a traveler know what his path led to;

for him, walking up a never ending mountain.

Those who question, “why walk up the mountain, life is a gift meant to go”,

indeed speak truly but that, that they never think of the chilling winds, the beautiful scenery and proudness awaiting you beyond that wall.

Yet just looking at the great wall makes it seem impossible.

Spoke Frost truly of the paths of life all looking the same.

So walking the path of life, what does really matter is the walk.

Whether you get lost, or get caught, to keep on walking is the way out.
