The Diamond Rose

The jeweller was arguing with Raheem as he demanded for a lower price. Just then, the owner of the

store walked in startled by the noise, he yelled at the employee. Raheem was a diamond sculptor.

He wanted to gift his girlfriend something for Valentine’s Day. So, he decided to ask for a raw piece

of diamond of which the jeweller said would very expensive and he could buy a ring instead. But he

was determined to make something handmade for the love of his life! The next day, Raheem went

to a diamond mine, he asked for a raw piece of diamond. Due to it being a mine, they offered an

average price. The next day, he started working on the diamond. He decided to carve a rose on it. He

worked countless hours. Finally on valentine’s day he gave it to his girlfriend. She hated it! She

wanted a Hermès bag instead and broke up with Raheem. He took the rose back to the same

jeweller he fought with. The jeweller was shocked by Raheem’s talent. Instead of buying the rose,

the jeweller hooked him up with a worker at the museum of rocks and precious stones! When the

worker saw the rose he was marvelled! He immediately agreed on putting it up in the display! Now

Raheem is being appreciated for his breath taking work and is being given orders by the minute!
