The Debate of Colors

One day, the colors gathered, face to face

To debate their greatness, power and place

Yellow exclaimed, I am the radiant one

I bloom in flowers and shine in rays of sun

Blue stated, I stretch my wings across the sky

I fill water in the ocean, where it runs high

Green whispered, I am oxygen giver to the Earth

I reside in each leaf, plant, tree from its birth

Red roared, I am fire, I speak through the rose

I am the heart that beats to love that grows

Orange cheered, I arrive with the autumn spree

Leaves now necessitate me to fall off from tree

White murmured, I clock in with winter’s embrace

I shift from the cloud to snow to ice with grace

Black voiced, I lace the night with shadows

Without my silence, no sound ever grows

Pink muttered, I am the oldest colorant on planet

I guard many, from dragon fruit to pomegranate

Violet uttered, twilight echoes in me with royalty

I slot into the face of nightfall with great loyalty

Wind hushed a truth softly through their debate

All colors of rainbow are bound together by fate

The battlefield arched into a symphony of peace

The colors pledged their unity would never cease
