The day my Grandfather died

Oh grandfather I remember the day you died,

I also remember when I was small, during hide and seek game you used to hide.

I remember that day, you were asleep whole day,

But on that day, what could I say.

My grandfather bought bicycle when I was small,

And I also remember the times, when we used to play catch-catch with the soft ball.

When my parents went for work, you cared me a lot,

And also many things you taught.

When you died, the day looked bad,

when I see the way we used to go, it reminds me of you and I feel very sad.

Once you told me to achieve anything we need to work hard and try,

But when I remember your words, it makes me cry.

I still remember the day you died,

On that day we all cried.

When you were alive, every day first I used to wish you ‘hello’ and ‘hi’,

But sorry grandfather, I never got a chance to say final goodbye.
