The Day
By Jignasa Parikh
The day when you speak of someone you do not like without rancour The day when you have no itinerary for your tour The day when your famishes are cured by your senses And the day when your connection is telepathy and not lenses The day when a touch is more orgasmic than an orgasm The day when memories fish only enthusiasm The day that can be perfectly described in a song And the day that you wish was longer than long
The day when you look so beautiful in a possession so old The day when your tears look like drops of gold The day when a conversation takes place without a sound And the day when you find yourself found The day that does not let you think of tomorrow The day where happiness dissolves in the sorrow The day when your fantastical plans lay The day that you decide you make your everyday.
