Let me tell you a tale so weird,

Today, as I opened my cupboard,

My clothes looked at me and sneered.

I asked them, “What’s all the fuss about?”

They yelled back at me, “Its time you took us all out!”

“Life has become so boring,

As you no longer take us touring.”

I tried to make them understand,

That none of this is in my hand.

We all have to abide by the lockdown,

There is no point in having a breakdown.

My jeans and dresses were throwing a tantrum,

Accusing me of having them abandon.

I tried to reason with them,

That none is their fault,

But me whose body is unkempt.

I no longer can dare to wear you both,

For my beefy waist and thighs, I loathe!

Besides, I have become used to the comfort of lounge,

Which I cannot have by wearing you around.

Just then I heard the faint sobbing of my bra,

I could no longer take the whining,

As now it was the last straw.

I shut my cupboard with a shudder,

While complaining grew louder,

And amidst all that shrill,

I opened my laptop to NETFLIX & CHILL!
