The Change

I've outdone myself,

I changed my priorities,

I tried to bring the best in me for what you wished,

all for you

but only the little pieces of me are left,

and keeping the memories in those pieces

it only leaves me shattered and broken

burning in flames 'til the ashes go down

I changed myself, completely

not knowing that i'd only be alone

if only the bigger picture striked,

the flames of confidence would burn

to all those times i thought i belonged to you,

I've just ruined myself

I brought myself to this,

Knowing that you'll never be back

I hope i wouldn't think this, ever again
