The Bullet Shot

I walked to the bank to deposit my saving,

Slowly walked up the stairs, besides the railing.

While I deposited my saving at counter number four,

I witnessed a group of terrorists opening the door.

They all wore masks, and also possessed guns,

Furious and eager to kill, just like demons.

I tried to stop them, I gave it my best,

But one of them drove a bullet down my chest.

I lost my consciousness, and fell on the floor,

But my mind started wondering more and more,

About all that these terrorists had taken from us,

And we are just sad and yet not furious!

They shattered the United States on eleventh September,

And that cruel attack on France, I still remember.

The world had world had witnessed the twin towers fall,

But only debating was done, I could recall.

They destroy our cities and murder our friends,

For them it’s just like setting new trends.

Is this humanity? I questioned myself,

Where terrorists are giants, and humans are elves?

I regained my consciousness on the hospital bed,

Never knew how serious this could get,

But it was my strength and determination to survive,

That from the hospital, I made it out alive.

It’s time to stop thinking, let’s put this to an end,

Let’s come together and stop this bloody trend!

Let’s not stay alone and lets all unite,

Cause it’s not mines or yours, it’s our fight!
