THE BROKEN SPINE

Oct 1, 2022

By A Satyalaxmi Harshita

Hope is the spine, that everyone holds on,

Until and unless the whole body tries to break it down.

And if it happens, to the world you are just a dangerous clown

Who always tries to withhold the emotions inside and drown?

Till the stem of a tree is brown, the leaves will be its crown.

But as late as the branches try to wrench,

Find the thirst in you to satisfy that quench.

Grab on that magic wand, wave it on your broken spine and fix it,

Let the magic be slow, strive with that broken spine till your heart roars “JUST KILL IT”
