The Brightest Moon Rises in the Darkest Sky.

In a certain mountainous village, there lived a young artist named Ravi. His biggest dream was to hold his very own art exhibition. To achieve this, he worked tirelessly for months, creating an extraordinarily beautiful collection of paintings.

However, just a few days before the exhibition was set to begin, a sudden accident broke Ravi’s right arm. The doctors told him that he wouldn’t be able to use his right hand for several months.

Ravi was completely devastated. He felt as though all his dreams had been swallowed by darkness. He locked himself in his room, spending his days in gloomy silence.

One night, his art teacher came to visit him. Opening the window of the dark room, the teacher pointed toward the full moon shining brilliantly in the pitch-black sky.

“Ravi, look out there,” the teacher said softly. “The moon shines brightest on the darkest night. Just because the sky turns dark, the moon never stops giving its light.”

But teacher, my right arm is paralyzed. My whole life has turned dark. How can I ever paint again?” Ravi asked in deep pain.

The teacher smiled and firmly gripped Ravi’s left hand. “Ravi, you don’t paint with your hand; you paint with your heart. Your right hand may be broken, but you still have your left. The talent within your soul is not gone. Do not hide away in fear of the darkness. In this hardest of times, let the moon of your courage rise.”

The teacher’s words brought a great beam of light into Ravi’s heart. That very night, he made a firm decision. He began training himself to hold the paintbrush with his left hand. During the first few days, his hand trembled, and he couldn’t even draw a straight line. Yet, he refused to give up.

Day after day, week after week, he pushed through the exhaustion and practiced with his left hand.

A few months later, Ravi held his first art exhibition. Every single painting on display had been drawn entirely with his left hand! Everyone who came to see the exhibition was absolutely amazed by his breath taking artwork.

Ravi had given a very special title to the main painting of the exhibition: “The Brightest Moon Rises in the Darkest Sky.”
