The Brave Crow

By Priyansh Jaiprakash Singh

Most of us have heard and read the story of Thirsty crow, wherein a thirsty crow unable to reach water in pot, throws rock inside it and slowly water level rises and he is then able to quench his thirst. The story showcased us; how smart crow are!!

But this author got live experience to witness an incident, wherein crow proved that, in addition to being smart, they are also very brave and confident. The incident goes like this:-

It was monsoon month and like any other day for author. He was working in his office in city of Pune and, there came a giant eagle, who was carrying flesh in his legs. He sat on street light and started eating flesh. The author saw this giant eagle and got awestruck. He went to window and started looking at him then, came there a small crow. He sat just beside eagle, bit afraid and started looking at flesh, with hope to get small bite. Author took out his mobile started taking photos.

The small crow kept disturbing eagle for bite and many times eagle frowned upon him, but crow was unfettered.

Ultimately, getting exhausted, eagle went away from there, leaving behind flesh. The brave crow along with his other crow friends had a nice lunch.

This live experience, convinced author that crow is not only smart and intelligent, but also very brave and confident. The crows have all attributes to survive in this cruel human society.
