THE BLOODTHIRSTY VAMPIRE

The library was as quiet as a graveyard as the rays of sun crept through the thick canopy of ancient boughs and new born leaves.Alex was sitting comfortably in the library reading his favourite book Twilight. As the morning grew on,Alex became weary and fell asleep.

He awoke to find that it was dark and he was locked in.Suddenly,Alex heard footsteps.Slowly,he looked around surreptitiously but the place was as as dark as a dungeon.Every muscle in his body tensed.Alex could feel the blood throbbing at his temples.Through a doorway,Alex noticed a room full of smoke. He perceived a figure emerging from the shadows. It looked like a man but it was actually a vampire.

Alex could not believe his eyes.The vampire had short,black hair and bulging eyes as red as blood.His teeth were knives and his face was as white as a ghost.Alex concealed himself behind a bookshelf but the vampire spotted him right away.The vampire stared daggers into his soul while saying”Oh little human,all I want is a little taste of your blood.”

In a split second,the vampire rushed towards Alex.The cold beast had an evil smirk on his face.Alex was prepared to say goodbye to earth.”Help!”shrieked Alex as the vampire wad about to sink his fangs into his soft,tender skin. No matter how much Alex tries to fight the beast,it was just twice as much stronger than him.

Alex awoke when he felt someone shaking his shoulder."Young man,it is time for you to leave," said the old librarian with a stern expression.Alex was drenched in sweat. As he fully opened his eyes,he discerned his surroundings and he mumbled”Thank God it was a dream and I didn't kick the bucket.”
