The blessing curse

There’s this combination of traits in a certain personality

that may seem farfetched, but for some of us, it is reality

if you look deeper into the subtle written facts

you’ll discover the Mariana trench, through their acts

Deeper than that oceanic trench, their souls go

so soft and sensitive, love just naturally flow

observant, analyzing body language and tone

and the sad news, they’re mostly alone

Overthinking is the going trend

hours spiraling over a conversation, time spend

on cringing over stupid answers, you gave

or embarrassing moments, you’ll carry to your grave

Noticer of tiny details, lover of books

finding peace in nature, writing in notebooks

oh, silent one, how many times you have been judged

for being different than the rest

but my darling, I hope you will see

despite the feeling that you are blessed with an unfortunate curse

remember that life has a way to reimburse

your heart is the purest thing on earth, so rare

and just like you, I have a lot of empathy to share.
