Love.

A very wicked emotion.

It's never as rosy, and it's definitely never as beautiful.

It's like a bundle of emotions clustered together to get one annoying one.

It frustrates you.

It weakens you.

It strips you of the ability to think straight.

Then I ask myself,

Why exactly do people run to it?

Despite the odds and the hurt that comes with it,

Why do people want to hurt themselves?

It's never rosy...

There is a beautiful story to be told about it.

In all the struggles that come with it,

There is still peace.

There is darkness that feels harmless.

There is still a strange comfort that comes with it.

Then why does it feel like it's only the horrible features that can be seen?

I think I must be in the wrong generation.

Everything right feels wrong, and everything wrong feels wrong... funny irony.

I can't even be happy to be happy without looking over my shoulder, hoping it's not a trap, because, well, it always is.

Nothing feels safe anymore.

What is wrong with this generation?

Why can't we be hopelessly in love?

Why can't we love to be loved?

Why can't we be at peace being seen?

Why must peace be traded with greed?

Insatiable greed.

Why?

The lovers are turning loners.

The loners are turning...

Hmmm.

It's endgame...

God of Love, I doubt this is what love should feel like.

Why can't we just have that reckless love?

Is this how it goes?
