Side by side they sat

As the sky settled in hues of orange- pink –purple,

The waves lapping in quiet harmony

To the steady comfort of their hearts.

She and he soaked in the glow of joy

Perfectly content in each other’s arms,

Barely speaking - no words

But eyes filled with stories of tomorrows and tomorrows to come…
