Battles entitled, graves embraced
yet, for the time is now bygone
a battalion into a legal maze.
Blood, sweat and tears indeed
a witness within
mizzles could be seen-
a prosperous world therein
whispers of dreams that were once their own,
yet, for the time is now bygone
noble shall be there souls buried deep in.
Combatants though they were,
were someone's dear-never feared
be on ridge, or on barren
their menage beseeches for their hearts-
hearts of essence.
Maybe not a noble, but he who is to be placed above
In shadows they stand, in twilight's breath,
guardians of peace, in memory, not death-
for the mankind- that he had agreed,
the nation- that he had served.
Yet, the time is now bygone
their remnants shall be revered.

A powerful and moving tribute. The poem honors sacrifice with dignity, blending grief, respect, and remembrance beautifully. The imagery of battles, shadows, and guardians of peace is deeply touching, reminding readers that service and sacrifice live on beyond time.

Words reflect emotions.. Keep up the work.
The way you honour sacrifice and service feels sincere and respectful. I love how calmly strong the tone is, especially the ending — it stays with you.
Great work
