The Balance

Updated: Feb 9, 2024

By Indira Penubolu

When one side is numb,

                                                                       And the other responsive,

                                     And I lie in between.

Being numb to one side,

                                                                                          And responsive to the other

                                        What could I possibly glean?

When one side keeps dumb

                                                                                             While the other speaks volumes.

Tell me unto whom do I lean?

Deciding which path to follow is always difficult. I Relate very much with this poem.
