The Art of Understanding

I will never walk in your shoes and you will never walk in mine

But really, what does this define?

The way that no one will truly commiserate with you

It is inevitable, I cannot even argue

No matter how we articulate our feelings

Words fail when it comes to emotions,

therefore, more powerful… are actions

Still not attuned…

but enough to get reactions

Perhaps the real art of understanding

will always remain hanging

because how can we understand beings

if we don’t truly understand the art of understanding…?
