The Art of Letting Go

The hardest decision is to let go or to wait,

But during times like this you can’t think straight.

The only thing will be memories which will be left in the end,

It will remind you of all the time you’ve spent.

It will make you happy to remember the times that you had,

But once it ends, the trauma will be really bad.

It’s difficult to get over those times and happiness,

You will get sad and feel heaviness.

But the only thing which you will do is hope that with time it goes away,

You keep waiting to detach day by day.

Is it so important to think with your mind?

Your heart decides when your souls are intertwined.

Letting go is so difficult, why?

For days, it makes you cry.

Then comes a point when comes no tears,

But your heart is still filled with pains and fears.

Was it right person wrong time?

Is being attached a crime?

Why is the final act of love always letting go?

I don’t think I’ll ever know.
