The Art of Becoming

By Roopinder Kaur Waraich

A past once veiled in sorrow’s shade,

Where hopes were thin and joy decayed.

The light had lost its will to stay,

Where darkness mocked the words, she would pray.

However, this darkness cannot forever reign,

She steps once more on the battle’s plain.

The path is long, the climb is steep,

But her fire awakens from the deep.

She wields her sword against the night,

Each clash ignites her inner light.

With a diamond heart and vision crystal-clear,

Her brilliance cuts through doubt and fear.

She paints her fate with fearless flight,

A masterpiece of will and might.

Her eyes reflect a million suns,

She strikes with valour till victory comes.

The queen of beasts resides in her,

Her crown is wrought through battles that occur.

No force can stop her, none can tame,

Her path unbroken to the Hall of Fame.

Her spirit strong, with war drums drumming,

This is the art of becoming.
