The Abyss

As I sink deeper in the abyss of sorrow,

Nothing changes the past, today nor tomorrow,

Labyrinth of thoughts engulf the already excruciating void,

A state of nihility, of a nightmare that doesn't see the light of dawn,

Just the winds of pain blow over the heart's barren lawn,

Tears too refuse to pore

Screams stifled sore,

People or their ways don't matter anymore,

A life drenched every day in the clouds of sufferings,

Now holds not an ounce of dismay for what the future brings.
