That Sunflower

Her heart’s blazing,

but oh that smile is amazing

you see her dancing in her room,

but you will never know that she cried in the gloom

You see her laugh and you ask her to not overreact,

but she isn’t someone who can be restrained,

her mind is thunder, her heart is hurricane

you can’t control her, she is untamed!

Sure, she struggles alone,

but she won’t let you know…

and yes, she has trust issues,

because like you, she too has been hurt before

stabbed in the back, was made into a wreck,

torn apart, with a little crack

A crack that healed over time,

not with revenge, or a grudge of any kind…

instead with love and kindness,

with acceptance, no meanness…

she gave light to everyone in the darkness.

she redefined the meaning of healing,

she taught to win people with smiles, instead of deceiving.

Sharing laughter and healing hearts,

she kept on writing for the world in the day,

and at dusk, talking to her stars.

she would wait when everyone would sleep for that would be her time to comprehend what she needs!

Her happiness is for all, but her agony is for her diary… she forgives people with love, for, she herself is an epitome of empathy

She is arcane… but she knows your pain, so she writes for you, to tell your story understanding, that there is no bigger healing than emotions scribbled in poetry

She doesn’t like roses, neither does her heart beat for lilies or daisies, she blooms in sun, but in darkness shreds light upon others, for she is what she loves, A true sunflower!
