That first day of school

When life taught what’s a RULE

That first day of school

I wish it could be April fool

Out of all the moments I captured

This Moment why is so fractured

Out of all the moments I treasured

This Pain why is so unmeasured

That first day of school

It to happen is so so uncool

Why with time it’s so tough to raise ?

I am just not ready for this phase

Why should I let you go ?

If it’s making me so low & low

That first day of school,

I wish I never knew!

It’s not the same world you felt in the womb

It’s not the same people whom you assume

This world can be brutal, also a little frugal

Those people can be kind, also a little blind

That first day of school

I wish you never went

But,

You can make that Frugal, a little communal

You can make a little blind, full of mind

That first day of school,

Let’s make this a Rule

Be The Change you want to Be

Not the one that world wants you to Be!!!!
