Testimony of an Acid Rain

By Sini Jose

Acid rain

Is always

A good option.

A purifier par excellence.

As you see

A good shower

Will clean any deep forest

Into a neatly burnt-desert.

Acid rains can leave

Pointed burns

Exactly at the middle spot

In the very center

where the rain pierces light.

A splash of Acid drops

Erases in no time

All the stars meet

All the moonlight dances

All the stolen rainbows

Drawn from East to West.

Even a single drop

Serves well to kill so fast

Any singing nightingale.

Magical are the Acid rains

To alter any soft blue blood

To the muddy dense river

And to wash away

All that radiant star shines

From the vast life map.

Experts are they,

The white coat pandits,

The brand ambassadors

Of purity and clarity,

The custodians of

Acid rains.

They built their shelters

In the clandestine camp sites,

Among crystal tubes and white glasses.

They possess the best knowledge

That a single drop is best enough

To burn in no time

Any dirty blue spring

So smoothly

Just like purifying one's self

By simply burning a rape victim.
