Taking a walk of the ancient world

Taking a walk, in the park;

The amazing infrastructure;

In the surrounding;

Got me wondering, How did we reach here?

Multiple people working, in different section;

Surely got us here, the Today's World;

But did the Past play a part?

Realising some facts;

Oh, what an amazing world we are living in!

So much has happened!

Unrealised we shall go, if not stopped for a moment!

The important part the past played;

The foundation it created;

For future to stand here as today;

Resilience, Persistence and Tenacity;

Surely the level, is unimaginable;

Are some of things which comes to mind;

As torch passed onto the future, that made way for today's world;

Ancient World, one of the period of past;

The mysterious and inspiring, a unique evolutionary timeline!

So much treasure, the ancient world has!

Unaware we shall go, if we forget to look for a moment!

Origins of human civilization;

Beginnings of writings and recorded human history;

The mesmerizing start of Ancient World;

Took place in all Continents;

Somewhere in the Universe;

Often called, "The Cradle of Civilization";

Mesopotamia, - the Ancient Summer;

The amazing earliest evidence of human civilization!

This breath-taking emotion of admiration suddenly felt!

So much precious, these contributed efforts, of the Ancient World!

Hidden it shall go, if not see them for a moment!

Continuing this walk of the ancient world;

With strong emotions;

This walk inside my mind;

Wondering and wondering;

What else has the Ancient World got for the World?

In the Mediterranean world, one of the iconic ancient civilization;

"The Ancient Egypt", Nile river being the oasis to agriculture;

Contributing to modern era, its cultural development;

Language and mathematics, some of them;

Tomb, pyramids and pharaohs, famous is its heritage;

And how to forget the exceptional mummies!

Playing at the front is a revolutionary movie!

With so much more to uncover, Undying here is this ancient history!

Recalling and remembering, the various memories;

The 'Historical Article' in the morning's paper;

"The Civilization of the Indus Valley!" ;

It's Urban planning, noted throughout the World!

So thoughtfully, the systems of drain and water supply;

Harappa and Mohenjo-daro, being the major sites;

One of the World's earliest Civilization;

During this time, technical innovation flourished;

Of the Near East and South Asia, the three early Civilizations with Mesopotamia and Ancient

Egypt!

Wish the power to travel past!

Seeing it live and treasuring in the mind!

Another greatest Civilization;

Of the Mediterranean World;

The "Ancient Greece"!

From formation of city-states;

To the source of greatest literature, architecture and philosophy;

Is home to beautiful and invaluable;

The Acropolis and the Parthenon!

Not to mention the Important Contributions,

Medicine, Astronomy and Mathematics are there to name the few!

To hit the road, uniques are its journey!

Today's World is also the fruit of the Ancient World!

Unclear we shall go, if not understand them for a moment!

The Julian calendar is its speciality;

It's the "Ancient Rome" Here;

From Public health to architecture, and roads!

Development in Human Civilization;

The establishment of Roman Empire;

The period encompassed most of Europe and Northern Africa and of the Western Asia as

well;

The Italic settlement, is the Ancient Rome Civilization's beginning;

Contributing to Modern language and society and warfare;

To mention some more, are Engineering and technology, also the religion and the law;

Aqueducts and roads are the large-scale Empire-wide construction!

Grandiose monuments and facilities being its expression!

So much depth, each one has!

The Civilizations of timelines are intertwined;

So many Civilizations yet to mention;

The Dynasty of China;

The Zhou and the Shang!

With the Shang dynasty being the earliest , While the Zhou dynasty being the longest!

Culture, Maths and Military, flourished during the timeline!

And the Celts Civilization;

Is the collection of tribes ;

Lived across Europe and Britain as its destiny;

Common language, religion and culture did they share!

Prosperly do they develop, if not the willpower for its entirety!

The tactful playout of everything;

In the travelling of Ancient World,

It's journey gave rise to today's Modern World;

With space and time!

And Ancient Civilization overlap;

All around the world, emerging and developing;

Bronze Age beginning in the Ancient World;

Transition of human tools from stones to bronze!

A revolutionary progress in the evolutionary process;

Kindness surely catalysing the journey;

Humanity and morals taking shape;

Laughing and working, each one contributed for its own and the future!

What a pleasant walk this has become, of the park and the ancient world!

So much the Ancient World still to give and has;

Artifacts and Monuments;

The test of Curiosity and Thinking!

Anthropology and Archaeology;

Emerged as the lights to see our past!

Waiting to be found, that I believe;

The amazing pieces of the Ancient World!

My mind while taking this walk of the Ancient World;

Kept Expressing "Grateful I am! Inspired I am! Mesmerized I got!", this is so real in my

self-awareness!

Itched in my mind, this Walk of Wonders!

Taking a walk of the Ancient World, is the symbol of today!
