Tagore, an Indelible Ray

In the sky rose a star, the sun

Fondly called Tagore ,

To introduce a new era of light

To fight all odds , odour.

Rabindranath left on 7th August

Leaving  indelible mark,

A mark to hark a new generation

To cultivate love spark.

Tagore, an artist, a poet, a writer

Eradicated the darkness,

By illuminating lamps of love,

Initiating a life sweetness.

A poet, a dramatist, a thinker,

A composer of songs,

Heralded  vibrant colours to

Paint life to live among.

Though soaring in the mist of

Oblivion, in the heaven,

You are replanting many plants

Of creativity, art  no end.
