He was a warm listener.

She was a storyteller.

Sitting under a tree in the moist dawn,

She took him to magical places.

To the father whose daughter was a soldier. To the gods falling for mortality.

To the dark palace which was once a happy dreamland. She told him about the envious crown,




The one standing high on the brave and selfish corpse. About a demon craving love.

About mountains, about meadows.

About the sea, about the stars.

And about a boy who loved a storyteller.
