Sunshine

Oh a pretty sunshine,

Shining in through my window pane,

Makes all my worries leave in time,

And fills my heart with joy not vain...

As free as a tiny bird on flight,

My mind rewinds back to this time,

Pink and orange blitz in sight,

That's more valuable than a golden dime...

Oh a lovely warmth brushing on my skin,

Feels so good like a hearty treat,

Made me happier than I've ever been,

In this home on 6th street...

All the birds that circle 'round,

Telling me it's dusk not dawn,

The day's bout' to end all's found,

But not the starling o'er that lawn...

Oh a pretty sunshine, soon'll be gone,

But wait and say a sweet goodbye,

Now I'm on my feet walking back in tone,

While the birds to their nests now fly...

Now the sun is down moon's outside,

Wavin' at me with a heart felt smile,

But wait for me to go to the other side,

The side I resonate with for miles...
