To the world, it’s a fabricated fairy tale.

But to me, it’s a real as my breath.

A story ending in silence,

Yet echoing eternally in my heart

A beautiful melody, played too short,

For the little one, who died too fast.

The little one waited too long, to hear this

Dusted flute tunes, for far too long.

It’s the story of my wrinkled hands

Destroying the beautiful flute, which I will never tune.
