Sunset

Everything I say right now,

Everything I write here,

It's all the truth, 

There's no more lies.

You're the best thing that happened girl,

The best thing in my life.

I wish I could ask you to come with me,

But that would be wishful and selfish.

I wish we could've been together,

Ohh the things we could've been.

You and me together girl,

Greater than anything I've ever dreamt.

I guess I have to go now,

But I hope you know this.

I would travel the world for you girl,

Move mountains at your command.

I wish I was there,

To wipe away your tears.

Hug you so tight,

Never letting go.

But again that's wishful and selfish thinking,

So let's focus on things that are real.

You go back to your world girl,

And I guess I'll go find my own.

It's gonna be hard for me,

It's gonna hurt a lot.

These emotions I try so hard to hide,

Finally it's decided to come to light.

It came sooner than expected,

The sunset has finally arrived,

I love you and will always do,

Wish you were by my side.
