STUCK IN LIMBO

Starting young you cannot trust

Those school bullies having there fun

Following the lead is what they do

Joining in numbers they pick on you

They stay the same; they never change

Laughing out loud is there claim to fame

They never thought, they never learnt

That brownie points wouldn’t be earned

When time stands still you’ve let them win

Just looking back you’ve gained nothing

Two steps forwards; three steps back

Stuck in limbo here one stands

When doubt sets in you; question yourself

Had you pushed through; would you still feel so lost

It takes some years; layers of light

To clear the tears; restore the mind

Bullies don’t care; they don’t look back

They pick on new people, it’s part of their tact

So; get out of limbo, try make up for lost time

You’ll find yourself smiling; one step at a time.
