Stubborn Stubble

By Kuru

It tickles when you smile

Against my cheeks

Subtle soft brush

Barely touched my skin

I hated it at first

Felt it bringing disgust

But on you my love

It shines

A Lil cheery

On whipped

Like I am

Can I call you mine?

There's this stigma on my chest

I know I'm not the best

Something you can't relate to

Show your love

For things before it's all gone

Like the stubble now gone

I swear it had me in awe

Cause it tickled

When you smiled against my cheeks

Against my skin
