Story Of A Super Girl

By Alena Bhutani

One Monday night I jumped into my bed and fell asleep. Hello everyone I am Alena. You won’t believe what I saw in my dream you’ll find out when we go ahead. So here is my dream.

On 2nd June 2022 as I fell asleep and I saw a dream… As I was walking home from the park one day I saw litter and rubbish everywhere. There were candy wrappers in each and every corner. “Why can’t people put the rubbish in garbage cans?” I wondered. I felt very unhappy and annoyed when I saw this so I tried to throw some of the paper and some plastic bottles in the garbage can. So the next day I came prepared to tell people that avoid throwing rubbish everywhere. I stopped many people to avoid doing this job. The next day when I came the colony was not the same. I wondered if the cleanliness had an important role to play to control the spread of Covid-19. After sometime I went for a walking break and I saw many poor children with Covid-19 but they were too poor to buy sanitizers and masks, so I pressed my bow and went off. When I returned I got a bag full of masks and sanitizers and then I asked many of the children what their names were. Ram, Preeti, Ali, Sunil etc. and then I commanded my necklace to write their names on some of the masks and then what I distributed masks and sanitizers. Oh did I forget to tell you about my gadgets and outfits. Ok let me tell you then.

Alena loved dressing up in turquoise and blue that was not all. She also loved wearing accessories in silver and here is a secret those silver accessories were her gadgets. If I press bow I can fly because it is connected to my cape. If I command to my necklace and say any name it will write that on any object I say. Last but not the least if somebody is in trouble then my wristband has a beeping sound. It tracks the area and takes me to that location. But there’s more to me.

We all love to breathe clean fresh air don’t we but now a days because of the pollution level rising I just want to run away but that is not a solution so I request all the woodcutters to stop chopping down all these trees. Beep…beep…beep…

Oh no…looks like somebody is in trouble. “Ah! Help me. These people are cutting me”

I just said the opposite to not cut down trees! But nobody here cares. Let me find out who is it and set him right. Oh that woodcutter right there. He is cutting trees. “Stop”! Hello woodcutter Ramu. “Hello dear. How can I help you?”

Woodcutter Ramu I want to tell you something but first I want you to answer my question.

The woodcutter agreed. “OK” So what are you doing here? I asked.

“I am here to chop wood”, he answered.

“And why do you chop wood?” I asked.

“I chop wood to sell in the market and earn money for my family”, he answered.

I then asked him,” why did you pick up this job? There are so many jobs except cutting wood.”

He answered, “But why can’t I do this job? What is the harm?”

“Don’t you think it will cause pollution and make our environment worse? I questioned.

“Ok I’ll stop cutting wood” he said.

I told him “but first I will tell your family if you are tricking me”

“OK. But who are you?” he asked.

“To you I may look like a child but I am Alena, the super girl.

“Bye super girl Alena”, the woodcutter shouted.

“Bye Ramu”, I smiled and left.

Now whoever is reading my story must know I am a super girl. But that does not mean you can’t be one. Just be compassionate, kind in your heart and Nobel in your deeds.
