Still Wondering..

I wonder

Will I be able to fill these pages?

Talk about you, adore you

Resonate you in every one of them

Your kind soul, your passionate spirit

Your existence when I close my eyes

Beautiful and wondrous like the universe

I wonder

Will I be able to do justice

To your form, your eternal life

The complexities in love and strife

Your feelings and your thoughts

Only a grain of sand I can express

I wonder

Will you ever read this?

Will you ever run your fingers,

Over its papery texture

Feeling every bit of me

Holding every word close

I wonder

Would you then know,

How much of myself I’ve given

To this ceaseless dream

Endless desire

Hopeless pursuit?

I wonder

If at long last, you do reach out

Words might fail me in pages

But feelings would never

I’m left wondering

Certainty close to the ending

No longer to hold on to you

But here I stand

Still pursuing

Still hoping

Still wondering
