Caption Of Artwork: In my painting "Still Dream Home" there are random objects that are found in every household. In this painting there is an apple, cloth, hukka, trunk and a painting of Jamini Roy. The objects like the old trunk and hukka show how weary they have become over the years capturing people, memories and habits that have passed on. The apple shows the young memories which have grown over a period of time and are not yet ready to become weary like the hukka and trunk. The painting of jamini roy which shows lord Krishna and his mother Yashoda, depicting the spiritual and cultural bent of Indian society found in every household.
