Starting A Verse

Starting a verse is tough You know why? Because the mind is filled The energy is enormous Of the positive, the bright, the colourful And Of the negative, the dull and the dark I see explosions of emotions and thoughts quite often: When I close my eyes I see galaxies of creations within me. I feel phrases, synonyms and beautiful figures Of metaphors, of similes and of antonyms To lace my pieces around with beauty and personifications But you see,

This thunderous, powerful merge of letters tend to slip away I see my words flying away I try to stand and to catch them Before they fade away Before they're blown away Into tiny pieces of dust. I rush, I push me up To grab my weapon, the pen And vast acres of white dusted sheets To sway this end of leaking ink To write, to imprint, to keep my explosions painted To let this world, and the galaxies know I stood to catch them My words, my phrases, my creations Before they faded away Before they blew away Into tiny pieces of dust.
