"Stars"

Do you ever look up and wonder

“Can I reach them?”

Through all the storms and the thunder

The ones that stay through mayhem.

They might seem far and distant,

Possibly not real

But the real stars are existent,

Waiting for their grand reveal

You see them all around you

Walking around with passion

It really is true,

We are the stars God made with compassion.

Do you ever look at them and wonder

“What a work of art!”

For humans are the very stars we see up in the sky;

The very work of art in front of our eyes,

That we fail to notice as they walk by.
