Stardust

Intrigued

I stand

No sense of direction

The heart – a broken compass

Adrift

I gaze

No sense of vision

Nothingness now friendly oblivion

Dragging these afflicted ankles

On a labyrinth of lonesome

In pursuit of placid living

A vagrant, I have become

No road in sight

No guiding light

An endless expanse of emptiness

Weeping and wailing

Cursing the night

Oh this ravaging restlessness!

Time will heal

Wise words reveal

All that is lost will be won

For what I seek

Is seeking me

In stars, stardust and the sun.
