Standing on the Balcony

Standing on the balcony every morn,

It was me with you.

Singing our happy song to that dawn,

Gazing at the flowers of the loveliest hue.

Standing on the balcony and its gloomy,

It was me with you.

Enchanted by your smile which was lit and bloomy,

By the twilight that was red and blue.

Standing on the balcony with heavy melancholy,

It is me without you.

Reminiscing on all the happy and the folly,

Drifting in thoughts without a brew.
