Stage Fright

I’m afraid , afraid to be on the stage,

I don’t fear falling, for sure, 

But fear others seeing me fall,

My heart and mind conflict all the time,

My talent screams for freedom ,”oh just give me mine”,

I want to  be on stage but I’m way too afraid,

I’ll overcome it once I’m awake,

I know these thoughts will never leave ,

But I know myself and in myself I believe .
